Squaring the Circle: Why Demonstration Projects = Good Sustainability Strategy
Consumers are increasingly demanding sustainable solutions that promise to address the problems of climate change and waste pollution. Complete sustainability for AHPs is not currently achievable, but considerable progress is being made. Solutions require not just innovation and commitment from the private sector, but also require large-scale public sector involvement. This presentation examines the role of demonstration projects regarding sustainable schemes for AHPs in building support among consumers and governments for a sustainable future for AHPs production, consumption and waste management. These projects are redefining what is possible while helping to remake the image of the AHPs industry around the world.
